CNS stands for Central Nervous System. CNS is not the first thing that comes into our minds, the brain, it also formed by other 5 structures (brainstem, cerebellum, diencephalon and brain) and the bone marrow.<\/p>\n

The diencephalon main job is the primary relay and processing center for sensory information and autonomic control.<\/p>\n

The brain is the largest part of the cephalic CNS, and its main job is the language, thought, voluntary movements, reasoning and perception.<\/p>\n

Below the cerebellum it is the brainstem, that connects the brain to the spinal cord. Brainstem is responsible for the involuntary muscles, as the breathing ones, heart rate and blood pressure.<\/p>\n

The cerebellum is behind the brain, and its main job is the refinement of smooth movements, as walking, running and writing.<\/p>\n

At last, but not least, the spinal cord. It Is connected to the brain trough the brainstem. All the information travels to and from the brain through the spinal cord.<\/p>\n

Cancer is an aggressive disease, especially when it attakcs the CNS.<\/p>\n

Vyro is pioreering and immunotherapy for the treatment of malignant CNS tumors. Specifically and oncolytic virus therapy.<\/p>\n

And Vyro is developing this technology harnessing the oncolytic properties of the Zika Virus.<\/p>\n
